The plan for our Family Fun Friday originally involved backyard bowling and a BBQ. What a great way to take advantage of some sun and daylight savings time! Life always has a way of changing our plans though doesn’t it? My husband and eldest son are off to help my brother and his family move tonight — and I originally intended to still BBQ and Bowl — and then I dropped a file cabinet on my foot. Change in plans.

Since I need to keep things less physical for my foot, the plan is to have a pasta cook-off and play “restaurant” with the boys. Tyler will get to learn cook his favorite meal and I will have Aaron and Andrew make place mats for us to use. We will finish it up with a “scary” Scooby Doo flick I grabbed from Redbox while I was filling my prescription at Walgreens. Lights out — movie on — I am looking forward to a great night in!
