The most obvious way to get coupons is to grab a Sunday paper. But that is not the only place coupons reside and today we will cover how to get more coupons you will actually use!
Visiting the websites of the manufactures who make the products you use regularly is a great place to scope out good coupons for products you already buy. If they have a newsletter, sign up for it so you get coupons emailed to you when they send them out. Look for a page on the site that says coupons, special offers, rebates or savings and sometimes they have coupons available to print or to sign up to receive in the mail. If you do not come across any of these do not fret. Simply click the Contact Us page and send them an email telling them how much you love the product you use and why? (Don’t forget to include contact information if it does not ask for it.) For me this has brought a coupon of envelopes, some sample products, or just a lone coupon for a Free Product! Only 2 sites have only sent me a Thank You and that is ok. I only took a few minutes to send that email anyway! Also, visit the websites of the stores you shop at. Many times they have manufacture or store coupons available to print and many times those items featured are on sale too.
Another place to get coupons is here! My side bar resets itself every time coupons.com resets the coupons and the quick print feature is great! Printing your coupons here will pay a few pennies and help me support the cost of the website hosting so if you already do this THANKS! You can always go to Coupons.com site too! Boodle.com, A Full Cup and Hot Coupon World (see my blogroll for links to both those sites) are also great sites to print coupons or find where you can. Also, keep your eyes peeled in the store for the little black or red blinkie machines! They house manufacture coupons for the products they are in front of usually but they can be used at any other store.
The last place to really pay attention is on the packages in your cupboards! I just clipped a coupon off my Special K for their waffles and I plan to try them soon! The Del Monte veggies in my stock pile have .55 off my next can of Del Monte which will make a can free at my local double coupon store. Since you already use the product in your cupboard there is a great chance the coupon on it will be relevant to you!

Is there a way to decode a coupon barcode to help be able to tell if it’s going to require something special by the cashier at the store (that dreaded “bad beep” from the cash register)?
My question – I’d love to know how to save money on baking stuff – I never see coupons for staples like flour, sugar, butter – and I really go through those. Thanks for the chance!
Hi Tia – I am trying to eat healthier and it is hard to find coupons for fruits and veggies and healthy foods. Also I am having trouble finding coupons for just staples like flour, sugar, spices etc. Thanks for the great giveaway chance!
I was just wondering what stores double their coupons, I thought those stores were long gone by now?
What companies have you contacted for coupons and what did you receive?
What is the best way to build up your coupon stockpile?

How do you get the best deals of fresh meat and deli-type products?
I’d love to know how to get more coupons for bread and milk products. Thanks for the couponing series- it has helped me save money
Great idea for a giveaway! For your next giveaway, you should give away a day planner coupon holder. I’m a beginner when it comes to coupons and I have found that a day planner is the perfect size for a beginner.

How do you buy “stuff” that there aren’t coupons for (ie. produce and meat) for a good deal?
I’m fairly new to couponing but I’m addicted! I’m having a hard time learning how to organize my coupons. I’ve found recently that I’ve ended up making a surprise stop to the grocery store, but not had a coupon or two with me that I could’ve used. I’m not sure how to get organized and stay organized! Thanks for the work you do to help us “newbies” out!

I love coupons! It makes shopping fun:)
How do you keep track, so your coupons don’t expire on you ?
Do you bring all your coupons to the store with you or just the ones that you think you’ll need? I’m always nervous that I’ll find a deal that I didn’t know about once I’m at the store and not have all of my coupons with me.
I would love to learn more about your organizing and budgeting. I struggle with not busting the food budget when something like non-hormone meat is on mark down. Do you allow some give in the budget know meat will be used over several months once put in the freezer? Thanks!

Do you keep track of prices at various stores? Some stores give you double coupons but others may offer lower prices to start with. If so, how do you do it? Targetmom referred me. Thanks!
THANKS for the opportunity to win!
Your giveaway, and my question go hand in hand – what’s the easiest way to organize my coupons?

How do you organize everything, but still keep it practical to have coupons with you when you shop…just in case you find a good deal you can’t pass up!
Wow Tia, all the comments are so exciting! My question, which doesn’t really have an answer, is how to determine how much stockpiling makes sense, especially with my new addiction to CVS, LOL. I think this is a very personal issue, b/c it depends on family size, storage space, etc.
Thanks again for all your work!
